We use a mixture of computer modelling, observation and theory in the fields of geomagnetism, mineral physics and seismology in order to better understand the structure and dynamics of our planet&amp;rsquo;s interior. We work on problems that range in size from that of a few atoms to that of the entire planet, and time scales from seconds to billions of years.<br /> <br />
