<h2 class="heading hide-accessible">Summary</h2>

Mathematical modelling of the behaviour of drivers and other road users, especially in multi-agent interactions and near-crash situations. Use of modelling concepts from psychology and cognitive neuroscience and various types of empirical data to develop and test models. Application in real-time algorithms or in simulations for virtual testing of safety systems and vehicle automation.
