Research on how to best develop and use our advanced suite of virtual reality tools (driving simulators, pedestrian simulators) to answer questions about driving, traffic safety, automation, and more. Generating realistic cues (vision, motion, haptics) and detailed measurements of human behaviour, utilising virtual environments with simulated human agents and automated vehicles.

<p>We have opportunities for prospective postgraduate researchers in the <a href="https://environment.leeds.ac.uk/transport-human-factors-safety">Human Factors and Safety research group</a>.
